Introduction
Retention and Disposal of Personal Information
Any Personal Information collected by the Company will be retained by the Company during the period of contract duration only as long as the Personal Information is required to serve its original purpose or as directed by applicable legislation or regulation.
Personal Information that is no longer needed for its stated purpose will be destroyed, erased or made anonymous.
The Company will ensure that all practices and procedures relating to the disposal of Personal Information will respect the fundamental policy of confidentiality. All Personal Information disposal procedures, including the disposal of computerized data storage devices, will ensure the complete destruction of Personal Information so that there will be no risk of subsequent unauthorized disclosure of Personal Information.
Deceased Individuals
The rights and protections of the Company's Privacy Policies will extend to deceased Individuals or dissolved entities.
Security
The Company will take and enforce all reasonable security measures appropriate for the sensitivity of the information to ensure that all Personal Information for every Individual and entity is protected against any form of unauthorized use including but not limited to accidental or malicious disclosure, unauthorized access, unauthorized modification, unauthorized duplication or theft.

Knowledge of Unauthorized Disclosure
Responsibility for the security of Personal Information is a responsibility that the Company holds in very serious regard. Any Staff having knowledge of an impending unauthorized disclosure, whether intentional or unintentional, and who fail to act to prevent the unauthorized breach will be subject to sanction as described in the Enforcement section of this document including the immediate dismissal of the offending Staff.
Enforcement
All Staff having care over Personal Information must comply with the policies, procedures and practices described in the Privacy Policy. Any breach of any term or condition of this Privacy Policy, whether intentional or unintentional, including but not limited to the unauthorized disclosure of Personal Information is grounds for disciplinary action up to and including the immediate dismissal of any and all responsible Staff. Any breach of any term or condition of this Privacy Policy, whether intentional or unintentional, is grounds for dismissal with cause.
Compliance with Privacy Policy
The Company will have a procedure that will allow Individuals or Entities to challenge the Company's compliance with this Privacy Policy. The Company will also have procedures to promptly respond to Privacy Policy compliance challenges.
The Company will make all reasonable efforts to investigate and respond to compliance challenges relating to this Privacy Policy. Where a challenge is well founded the Company will take action to correct any outstanding problems up to and including amending the Privacy Policy and related procedures.
Arbitration
In the event a dispute arises out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy, the parties will first attempt to resolve the dispute through friendly consultation.
If the dispute is not resolved within a reasonable period then any or all outstanding issues may be submitted to final and binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio. The arbitrator's award will be final, and judgment may be entered upon it by any court having jurisdiction within the State of Ohio

All Keys Lost Before we start any work on the car, we will need a copy of your ID, a title or registration, in your name. We will upload that information to a key broker and delete it from our devices. - Please email or text us your VIN, the color of the car, vehicle location, the plate number and estimated mileage. If you do not have your plate number, go to oplates.com to retrieve it. Please send us a screenshot of that page, of which includes your last name and plate number. - We also require the $65 non-refundable fee for the key code to be paid before we arrive onsite. You will receive a payment link for that charge. We cut the key at our warehouse and onsite we program. Even if we do not supply you a key and/or fob, we under no circumstance, will refund the key code charge. This is a non-refundable. This key code is specific to your car and shared with you, post purchase. - If your ignition cylinder and/or door locks, have been changed in the past, then the key may not work. If that is the case your car may require decoding, cylinder rekey or replacement and those prices will vary. As a reminder, if it was replaced and no work is performed, there is a trip fee of $50. Decoding is done by our Specialist and the pricing just for decoding is $150. - There are some vehicles such a Ford that requires two keys versus one. If that is the case, you have the option of purchasing the additional key. Please note we quote you for one key and the 2nd key is not given unless paid for in advance. Key Cutting or Duplicating After cutting, we decode your product at least twice before we consider it effective. This ensures the key is cut to precision. Key Cutting times can vary between 5 minutes and one hour. This is because keys can become dull over time and our machines’ cuts, may be off, as it may anticipate a different bite or angle. If we are unable to decode your existing key, we will ask that you pay for us to pull your Key Code. If you agree, we may discount the usual price required to pull key codes. Additionally, all documents required in the ‘All Keys Lost’ section, may be requested.
Programming Process If your car needs programmed, this can take anywhere from 3 minutes to one hour. Generally the programming process takes 5 minutes but this depends on your vehicle. Chevrolets and Fords usually take between 10 minutes and one hour. There are some cars we simply don’t have the ability to program. We discuss options with our clients when that happens. If the vehicle takes longer than one hour, we will charge $75 an hour to continue programming. If your car does not program or a fault occurs due to your car’s mechanics or as a result of the programming process, you accept all risks and will not hold our company accountable or ask for money for repairs. We will owe you nothing if your vehicle, components are pets function in the programming process and using our service, constitutes your agreement and acceptance of this disclosure. Battery If your car isn't functioning well at the time of programming, a trip fee is required for us to come back. We usually see this when the car battery is dead or weak. Programming does not usually work when the car battery is inefficient. If we come out to a car with a weak or dead battery and are unable to program, then we charge a $50 trip fee. Likewise, if your vehicle is not running at programming and you choose to purchase our product, we will not offer any refunds. If we have to come back out, a service fee is required and /or programming fee may be required. If the battery does in the middle of programming, damage your car can occur. It is your responsibility to ensure your battery is able to sustain a charge throughout the programming process.
Fobs, Keys and Remotes For products that we supply, our organization sells aftermarket parts. At your request, we can supply OEM products, otherwise we use Aftermarket products. Please note that OEM generally cost more. Aftermarket products and a few OEM, do not always function when we program. If we find that we are unable to program your product, we give you the option of us ordering a replacement. We will then inform you that the product is in, and finish the job. If you have your own product, it could also be defective. If in stock, we will offer to supply you with one of ours and you will pay the difference, if elected. Please note that we will charge a $50 trip fee if your product does not work, and if you do not choose ours, when we've made the trip to your location. Please note that in many cases, we have remotes that may not look like your original that may work to run your vehicle. If we aren’t able to program one similar to what you previously had, we will give you the option of using one of the mentioned remotes. These are usually $10 cheaper although that can vary. We will also discount a second remote for you that closely resembles your original, to be ordered at your request. Of course you have the option of rejecting any of those options and going to another Locksmith. Aftermarket To save our clients money, we use aftermarket products, if your product doesn't work as intended or program, we may need to order a new product, -if not in our warehouse. - Prior to working on your car, we test your key, fob/remote. After servicing your car we test again and we test the new set. We also have to start your car and leave it running for 3 minutes, when possible.
Quality Check Once we have completed the job, there is an internal quality check that verifies that the product is working as intended. After that check we ask you, the Customer to also do a quality check. Once all parties agree the product works as intended and you / Customer, accepts the product, this constitutes acceptance. Warranty After the quality check and acceptance, the transaction ends. We do not offer ANY warranties on ANY of products or services. Products can be dropped, tampered with and experience other issues. Additionally, there are times that your battery may die in the remote. That is something you can replace or call us out for $50 and we can replace the battery. Refunds Once the transaction is complete, and you accept the product, there are NO refunds. Service Fee If you cancel less than two hours prior to your scheduled appointment, decide not to accept our services when we come onsite, or your car is mechanically inefficient for us to service, we charge a $50 trip fee.
To help ensure the safety of our Technicians. We ask that you do not approach the vehicle that the Technicians are driving or as passenger. The Techs will come to you and make the transaction. Our Techs have been trained on safety strategies and if they feel uncomfortable when onsite with a customer, they are expected to leave the scene and go to a place that they feel safe to finish or start the job. This is required of the Technicians. We conduct periodic wellness checks of our staff, monitor them with cameras and GPS tracking. Sanitize Our Techs at their discretion to wear a mask when with a customer. Gloves are encouraged to be used. The Technicians are required to clean up any messes at completion of their function. We encourage all customers to wear a mask when approaching a Technician. We also ask that our Clients and Customers have a clean and safe environment for our Technicians. If animals are present, please remove them from the working area so that our Technicians aren't hindered in performing the function. If there is a presence of pest or rodents, please inform the Technician beforehand, so that they can take the necessary precautions. We keep your information confidential and this will not be shared, but we must know beforehand that there is a risk or the Tech will cancel the job and charge a $50 trip fee. One check is to pull seats down and see if there is a presence of bugs. Our Techs are required to do this when arriving onsite. Customer Services We pride ourselves on low-cost options, professionalism, and our lame jokes. Our customers have noticed and we hope that you have a similar experience.
Releases There are some vehicles that have BCMs that may immobilize your vehicle during the programming process. If you proceed with using our products or services, you assume the risk and will not hold us or our affiliates responsible. If your car requires a steering release lock, we may have to release it in the programming process. If there is a problem with your ignition switch, steering mechanisms, any control modules, if we have to release any locks or perform programming, your vehicle can malfunction and/or become immobilized. If you use our service you accept responsibility for the malfunction(s) and immobilization plus assume all responsibility. You will not hold our company responsible and we will owe you nothing. This is commonly seen in cars that require steering wheel lock releases, such as Nissans. By proceeding, you accept this risk. Other Locksmiths may not inform you of this, but we do. We program with a device and software and generally there are no issues. However your cars' mechanics may be malfunctioning and programming can worsen the condition. We will owe you nothing if your vehicle, components are pets function in the programming process and using our service, constitutes your agreement and acceptance of this disclosure.
